Once again, my buddies and I headed up to Seattle for our favorite horror convention! First stop was Buster's BBQ in Portland - man oh man was it good. My Buster's BBQ plate. Holy cow was Zach Galligan a great interview and entertaining storyteller! The Bonnie Aarons panel. The Heather Matarazzo panel was really a rollercoaster ride of serious stuff and hilarious stuff. I think this was $8. What a fun experience - live commentary by Toby Poser and John Adams for their film HELLBENDER. All set for our midnight screening of A KNIFE IN THE DARK!. Jeff Ferrell moderates the Practical SFX and Makeup on a Budget panel. Another entertaining panel was William Butler telling stories about working for John Carl Buechler, Charles Band and others. The best/most unnerving part was when he looked me right in the eye and did an elder Yvonne De Carlo impression! It was fantastic to chat with Toby Poser and John Adams again this year. They are so down to earth and filled with creepy creativity! Inspirational. And check out Toby's snazzy houndstooth dress! Julie Brown's panel - sorry for the blurry photo!
