 The gang is ready to go!!!  Dale gives this trip a thumbs up!  We stopped on the way up for lunch at Dickie's Barbecue Pit.  Good friends, good barbecue!  The ice cream machine was not working, but this fried ocra cone just wasn't the same.  And the gargoyle welcomes us!  Got a table this year and had LOTS of help from my friends. Did well and made a lot of new fans and friends!  This statue kept an eye on our booth all weekend.  It's called BRANDING!!!!!  This woman has good taste in b-movies! This woman is Tonjia Atomic!  This man has good taste in b-movies...and t-shirts.  These new fans have good taste in b-movies...and t-shirts...and hats!  Sid Haig and I were the first to arrive at the black baseball cap club meeting.  I loved this show when I was a kid, so it was great to get a signed photo from Sid Haig of his villain Dragos from "Jason of Star Command!" Time for banana pudding!!!  Saturday morning it was time for evil skulls and bloody eyeballs at IHOP.  PANCAKES!!!  Tim is really excited about his first panel of the day! Jen Soska was thrilled about Tim's gift, too!! Way to go, Tim!  Hanging out on the patio.  Someone provided cherry pie and hot coffee for the Twin Peaks panel! Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 panel  Hey! Madeline Morgan showed up so we had a mini BLOOD CREEK WOODSMAN reunion! Delicious roast turkey dinner before the screening.  These chicks are ready to watch the movie!  We had a great time at the Odd Noggins screening!  After the screening, Adam made a new friend. Debbie Rochon answers a question from an attendee in the room, while someone else responds to Periscope viewers on their phone.  John made lots of new friends at Crypticon. Like this crazy-looking person...  And this crazy-looking mask from Beetlejuice...  And this Dalek from Dr. Who...  And this pie-loving kindred soul.  Awwww...  Ken Foree was keeping it cool. And if you look, you can see some lip-prints on his cheek. The ladies loved him...  RJ Haddy does some neck work in his make-up class.  Look at this! The Master commands it!!!! This is Jackey Neyman Jones, who played the little girl, Debbie, in MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE. She is holding a painted she did, a replication of the painting her father did for the original film. Jackey's dad also played "The Master" in the movie!  Michael Berryman from One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Hills Have Eyes, Weird Science, The Devil's Rejects and many others.  Seattle filmmaker/model/actress/make-up artist/bunch-of-other-stuff Michelle Nessk  William Forsythe from The Devil's Rejects, G-Men from Hell and Dick Tracy (he played Flattop!)  This guy.  William with authors Kyona Jiles and Charity Becker.  Zombie gnome!!!  Michelle and William show off their smiles!  Clint Howard was such a swell guy. So nice to chat with, very grounded and full of great stories!  This nurse has been in the waiting room too long!  Caffinated marshmallows?!?!  It would not be Crypticon Seattle without the Thriller dancers!  Zombies!!!  Tim, Melody and the Soska Sisters.  John got this cool VHS hat!  Dale and I bid farewell to Debbie Rochon after picking up a couple of movies from her.  We were all tired and had a great time but didn't say goodbye to Mickie - we just said, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR AT CRYPTICON SEATTLE 2016!!! |
